The Lausanne Cape Town Commitment (http://www.lausanne.org/content/ctc/ctcommitment) concludes with the following statement:
’Biblical mission demands that those who claim Christ’s name should be like him, by taking up their cross, denying themselves, and following him in the paths of humility, love, integrity, generosity, and servanthood.’
As response to this call, the Global Generosity Network had been working on publication that looks at Christ-centered generosity from a global perspective. We are very pleased that this publication will be published in April 2015. The publication is quite unique in that it will have contributions from 23 different countries. Business people, pastors, Christian network leaders, ministry leaders and even children share generosity stories and reflect on how they live out generosity. The publication closes with a 7 day challenge to live more generously.
Attached is a provisional cover for what we believe will be an exciting book to work through. More information will be distributed in the next few months.
