Do you trust the Bible as the authority for all spiritual matters and also believe that the Bible is more than sufficient to deal with all aspects of life and relationships? If you answer “yes,” then you are on solid biblical ground. It is sad that many believers trust the Bible to be authoritative for salvation and eternal life but do not believe it is sufficient to face and deal with all aspects of life and relationships. If a person does not believe in the complete sufficiency of Scripture to face all challenges and situations in life, then there is only one other alternative to provide supposed “insight and guidance” for daily life, That alternative is worldly wisdom, which is folly with God.
