Following a wonderful worship service at my church this morning, and a challenge from our pastor to stand up for righteousness in our society where boundaries are hazier, truth is a five-letter word, and the unbelievers’ voices are louder than ours, I was pondering this question: Ae we willing to speak up for righteousness? Where is Jesus in our lives?
Our conversations/discussions cover all the issues: post-modernism, women in minisry, prosperity gospel (?), new and better means of evangelization…but where is Jesus in our discussions? Is it too simple just share Christ with unbelievers…the poor, needy, those in bonds, the sick, the lost?
What is your story? How did you come to Christ? Do you have a testimony, or just a theology?
Are we able to share our story, show our love, our thankfulness, love others more than ourselves? Christ gave his life so we may live; are we willing to give our lives so others may live?
