I met Gabe in Ethiopia while doing a medical rotation in Mekelle. He is truly a visionary.  Born in Ethiopia, he lived and trained in India, Australia, and the U.S., studying engineering and acrchitecture.  He has taken those skills back to Ethiopia where he is building a sustainable orphangae capable of housing hundreds of children, replete with organic farming, purified well water, wind and solar power, schools, clinics, and a community center.  Truly one of the most Christ-like and inspiring men you will ever meet.
