Role of Traderoutes in the Spread of Christianity

This articles seeks to do two things. First, it attempts to correct a foolish Western focus of Christianity. Christianity in the East was more missional and vibrant than found in the West. As such it should be studied and understood better. Second, the methods used during the first millenium may have value in this age. The relative failue of Christian missions in this age to penetrate Central Asia, compared to the early successes of the first millenium, makes this particularly current.
