We don’t know what we believe in life, God knew this, so when He sent Jesus to earth, he sent him with a universal communicator, something that crosses boundaries of ethnicity, economic background, and belief system. He sent him with love. Even those filled with hate, racists, terrorists, they understand what it means to feel love.

 

 

1 Corinthians 14:1

Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]

 

3 reasons

 

1. Love is the supreme value in life

Mathew 22:37-39

37And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect).(A)

38This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.

39And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.

 

         All law summed  up in Galatians 5:14 Love…

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

 

2. Primary Objective in Life

1 Corinthians 13:1-3        

 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.

 

3. Love is the Greatest Power in Life

1 Corinthians 13:13

13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love

 

 

Ephesians 5:2

and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
