With many ministries, organisations, churches and networks struggling financially and because fund development is an important ministry, we are very excited with the new OM course in financial development. The attached brochure and participant reaction will give more information about this initiative.
The vision is to ’Train and equip people to practice financial development as a valuable ministry in their field, as part of a support community, resulting in income, long-term sustainability and capacity building’. One of the aims of the course is to ’Train and mentor leaders in financial development and move OM towards a culture where fundraising happens extensively and naturally’. This sounds like something that every ministry and mission agency need! Actually it had been expressed as a need in a recent Stewardship Survey that I conducted.
OM is willing to accommodate leaders from other ministries, organisations, agencies and churches in the course. Please consider that.
