Donations to a sample group of 14,300 US charities that The Chronicle of Philanthropy is tracking raised $2,059,556 on Thursday 26 December 2013, more than 40 percent over the same day a year ago. New data will be added every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through early January 2014.
