Since 1999, Mission Increase Foundation (MIF)—based in Portland, Oregon, and with regional offices throughout the United States—has helped more than 1,700 Christian ministries in the U.S. improve their fundraising capacity and management skills. MIF has trained—at no charge—thousands of Christian leaders, awarded nearly 1,000 grants worth more than $24 million, and leveraged more than $110 million in matching funds to support the vital work of these ministries.
Tandon Institute™ and MIF are partnering to bring this unique combination of training, coaching, and strategic grants to local Christian ministries in India and Philippines, enabling them build their managerial capacity, fund-raising, governance and leadership capabilities and grow stronger as organizations so they can more ably meet the pressing needs of those they serve and present a more vibrant witness to Jesus Christ.
The two organizations, in partnership with like-minded national organizations, funders, donors and supporters, are planning to establish three pilot Centers – in Delhi, Chennai and Mindanao – to test the concept and serve as models for a network of like centers throughout the two countries.
