LOVE2020 ~ Love is Essential to Leadership

God does not give us power to be used for own ends or desires.  His power is entrusted to us so that we are motivated to serve God and others with the love of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit![1]

            Tragically, this teaching has been ignored throughout much of Church history by a male preference for a part of Paul’s teaching in Ephesians that states that wives should submit to their husbands (see Eph. 5:22).  Unfortunately, the focus on service has often been downplayed along with Paul’s insistence that there should be mutual submission in love to one another out of reverence for Christ (see v. 21).
