City-to-City: Responding and Partnering in Disaster -

Loving Our Communities to Christ (“LC2C”) coaches dialog with cityreaching leaders from:  ·Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Joplin about their recovery from devastating Spring 2011 tornadoes  ·Charles Daugherty on how Serve The City in Cedar Rapids won awards for the City Church’s response to a 500 year flood, plus,  ·Steve Marr on the critical role of the Christian Emergency Network in disaster communication and preparedness for the Citywide Church.

What is the opportunity (responsibility?) we have as LC2C cities to pray for, care for, and share with these brothers and sisters?
? > Alert your city networks to pray for opportunities to show and tell the gospel through recovery efforts?
? > Send teams to set-up prayer stations? Prayerwalk ravaged neighborhoods?
? > Recruit construction crews?
? > Collect funds to purchase gift cards for homeless families?? > Offer evangelistic personnel for training or …
Maybe it’s time to reach a city we do not live in,
