The question came to us about cutting and pasting text from the Nepali Bible. Is there an easy way to do this? Well, here’s what a few of us have come up with for now.
1. Go to this page which gives you access to PDF versions of the Old and New Testament in Nepali. Please note, I’m not certain yet which Bible version this is — I’m trying to figure that out. It isn’t the Nepali New Revised Version or the Easy-to-Read Version.
2. Download and install several (or all) of the Nepali fonts found on this page.
3. Cut and paste the desired reference into a Word-type document. Highlight the text and change it to one of the downloaded Nepali fonts.
This seems to work. However, I do not recommend trying this unless you know how to read Nepali. If you can’t read it, you’re not going to be able to notice if there are any errors in the spelling or translation.
