I find that the world churches of this time are much like the  seven churches in The Revelation of Jesus Christ Ch 3. Five of the seven had tolerated sin and perverted the gospel message. Smyrna, the persicuted church is much like the persicuted church of today, pure and enduring due to true faith in Christ. Philidelphia has an open door that no one can close, a blessed truth for a church of today that has the qualities of that church. This is the true evingelical church, Christ has opened the door witch none can close.
