Dear Church

 

The Lord gave His Church the Great Commission and it goes like this

Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:
Mat 28:20  teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

GOING: The commission has to do with GOING.  Today, we see that Church is no more interested in GOING but the message is COMING! 

MAKING: The commission has to do with MAKING DISCIPLES.  The church is no more interested in MAKING but MICROWAVING!

DISCIPLING:  The commission has to do with DISCIPLING. The churhc is no more interested in DISCIPLING but GAINING NUMBERS!

The Church today is made up of believers and Christian and not Disciples of Jesus Chirst.  We do not make disciples anymore and even if we do, we do not make disciples of Jesus Christ but disciples our ourselves.

The GREAT COMMISSION was given to DISCIPLES and only DISCIPLES are equipped to IMPLEMENT.  Believers and Christian are impotent to IMPLEMENT.  It took 12 disciples 300 years to reach the whole world.  Are missing out something somewhere?

We do not focus on TEACHING the one who get saved to OBEY!  We are more busy telling the new believer how he can become RICH and SUCCESSFUL!  I cant see where that is written in the GREAT COMMISSION!  We have to GIVEN an answer to our LORD when He returns for this GREAT OMISSION.

Let us repent and return to the GREAT COMMISSION!  Let us ARISE and BUILD!
