Rediscovering the Gospel of reconcilliation

Thanks Anthonie

It was a well written piece especially from the background of the experience in your country.

The terrible thing about evil is not the pain or injustice suffered by the victim but its capacity to make its victim become evil. Reconcilliation is tough because the victim must unconditionally forgive and release his or her  oppressors. This only comes through the experience of deep transformation.

You raised questions about the actions of church while evil is pepertrated. you also mentioned that your country is about 90% Christian. Please you need to clarify if this percentage are all followers of our Lord or they are just part of the majority that warm the pews every Sunday morning. We must not lose sight of the fact that all that glitters are not gold.

It is my opinion that in my country up to 70% of those who go to church know nothing about our saviour who transforms.

Thanks again for a good article
