A CALL TO PRAY AND FAST FOR LAUSANNE III – 2 Chronicles 7:14

The Lord by His Spirit has impressed upon my heart to challenge you to join mr in a 40 day journey beginning on the 14th of September, 2010, and ending on the 24th of October with some of us in Cape Town, at Lausanne III.

Forty in the bible is very significant and I think of two incidents. One was when Moses went into the mountain to get the ten Commandments from God, twice by the way. The other was when Jesus went into the wilderness to fast and pray, and was tempted by the devil, before He began His public ministry.

I feel strongly that if we PRAY and FAST for this period of time, the Spirit of God will show up in Cape Town among His people in an unusual way and they will be in a condition spiritually to not only hear His voice, but be also with a spirit to do what He says, for Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever.

Please pray and ask the Lord if He would have you be a part of this 40 Days to Cape Town group? This is not a requirement of Lausanne team or leadership. It is a personal burden of mine. I am aware with all we have to do by October 16th Time is very precious, so make this a matter of prayer.

This journey will be different thinhs to different people, I will make suggestions, however you will need to hear from God for yourself as to what it will look like for you.
