Apology: In case someone’s reading…

My wife said my two previous postings were a bit sarcastic.  So, I owe my readers (both of you) and apology.  I feel deeply about church and missions issues, and I need to be more understanding of others who may not feel the same way.

I’m honored to have been invited to the Congress.  Most of the people who will be attending are way out of my class (the same as my close friends say I married way above my class!).

But God is good, and more than often he gives us more than we deserve.  That’s called Grace.

The Prophets of old were not the most popular guys around.  But, they never failed to speak the Truth.  I love the poor, the disenfranchised, the lost and sick, the deprived.  My personal prejudice is those who have all the blessings available, know all the truth available, and yet use it as a cushion on their rocking chairs.

Capetown 2010 is an opportunity to share with God’s saints, learn from them, and continue the process of ministering to those in need, regardless of their class, color or creed.  May God be praised and blessed through this great Congress.  The anticipation is drying my tongue, wetting my spiritual appetite, inflaming my heart, and causing my once-dead heart to beat faster for Him.
