1) The paper is well researched and technical. It clearly gives a picture of the nature of evangelism in both oral and print methods. 2) The paper made a case for oral communication. In the western world where print strategies are firmly established, it is appropriate to encourage oral strategies. However, in settings such as Africa and other developing countries, it is important to encourage print strategies alongside orality. 3) There is a strong emphasis on the methods. It would be good to balance the paper with expected outcomes of the methods. It would enrich the paper if practical ways of how to use the methods are stated. Specific examples of success would be helpful. 4) Oral methods are undoubtedly effective in illiterate communities. However, it is essential that the communicator ensures accurate  transmission of the message. For instance, there was a poor gardener in our home town who upon hearing the story of Lazarus and the rich man went away happy saying heaven is for poor people, while rich people go to hell. He needed further understanding of the parable. 5)The need for relevance and clarity of stories are essential when interpreting in local languages.
