Dr. Matthew Sleeth, author of “Serve God, Save the Planet” is a former ER physician who recognized that our planet was dying based on the health of his patients. He also searched the Bible to learn of God’s mandate for us to care for his creation.  As a result,  he and has family opted “out” of the American Dream, by giving away over 1/2 of their possessions and devoting themselves to spreading the message of Creation Care.  His wife, Nancy, has written a great handbook called “Go Green, Save Green” to help households save on energy costs and apply those savings toward mission work.  I am excited to tell you that on April 21st, they are hosting the first-ever, all-church simulcast on Creation Care.  Hundreds of churches have already signed on.  I hope that yours will too so that we can open up this important discussion to all.  Find out more at: http://blessedearth.org
