I’ve head this question asked before in relation to the topic of technology and the Church, but the fact of the matter is, we don’t know. We don’t know if Jesus would have counter this cultural trend or whether he would have reached out to the outsider and the estranged via any means possible. This makes it so hard to determine how to approach technology and social media. 

Even though that’s the case, I don’t think we, as followers of Jesus, have to be stumped in regards to what we should do. I think if we seek the right answer and how to engage technology meaningfully and purposefully, recognizing that may not look the same for every person and every church, then we can trust that we are doing whatever we can to further the gospel message.
