Media are the integral part of the contemporary reality, their role in social life and in education seems to be more and more important.[1] Media education is connected with the knowledge interdisciplinary in nature which is situated between science and everyday life. This kind of education is also a consequence of the development of new information and communication technology.[2] Many animals are currently facing extinction.[3] Conservation education which highlights the impacts of our behaviour on other species survival is crucial. This study canvasses for the use of visual media to increase knowledge, attitudes and conservation behaviours regarding of environmental awareness in social media sites.[4] In the Caribbean the issue of environmental awareness is now on the rise and the use of media on social networking site would enable the wide audience part take in caring for God’s creations.
