A video by IMB Global Communications outlines the challenges for and the growth of the Church in Asia.

The Church of China was not represented at Lausanne 1989. China is unable to attend Cape Town 2010. The Lausanne participants welcome their Chinese brothers and sisters even in their absence.

An inspiring and emotional testimony from a young North Korean student.

Dinesh Kumar, born in a Dalit family, describes the discrimination and oppression of the caste system in India.

A tribute to the ministry of Dr Billy Graham and his impact on the Lausanne Movement. ’Remember Your Leaders’ encourages a new generation of leaders--that the whole Church might take the whole gospel to the whole world.

I was moved to tears a couple of times watching these presentation on my computer...I can only imagine what it was like to be there in person. God is doing great things in Asia and in many Christian hearts as He fills them with love for the people of Asia. I know...my family and I are one group of 7 who God is leading into a great love for Asia and its people. We have lived in Okinawa, Japan and Seoul, South Korea and our prayer is that He will bring us back to Asia soon to do more work for Him. Thank you Lausanne for your emphasis on Asia and on every region of the world!

so moved by testimonies||I was so moved by the testimony of the 18-year old girl from N. Korea and her commitment to serve God and share Him to her people even after what has happened to her father. Even as a young person, she can be an agent to bring her people to God. I will "adopt" her and pray for her regularly.
My heart was also broken for the sufferings and difficulties our brothers/sisters in China and other parts of the world are undergoing and will remember to also pray for them regularly.

Prayer||The prayer which was written and read out was not suitable for the situation. Also it was spoken to the audience, not to God.

Response||1. It was a moving night especially when we smbolically offered the empty seat and said, "This was reserved for you."
2. It was overwhelmingly powerful when Kyung-Joo shared her testimony. Thank God for her courage to stand before 4,500 people and pour out her heart and declared her unswerving commitment to go back to her people in N. Korea with the gospel.
3. With all the applause of support in standing ovation and the prayers for the rest of the persecuted church of Jesus Christ, a few of us felt that the night ended on a rather "flat" note.
4. Not that we want to ignore the pain and suffering of our dear brothers and sisters in Christ, but since we have learnt so much about what God has done in christ Jesus in Eph 1 and the truth that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus, it would have been better if a closing song of declaration that "the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church".
5. I enjoyed the worship songs led by the worship team. However, when the more chinese hymn was sung/led, apparently the projectionist were "lost"? In the end, it became like a presentation. Maybe the worship leader and the projectionist could have practised the sequence?
Thank you.
