Populations of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) who live in the US are keen to contribute both to their countries of origin and to their adopted country. Many of them are also looking outward and would help anywhere they perceive the greatest need. What they are looking for are charities and non-profits that are effective in achieving their goals. The focus of this report is on giving behaviours shaped by recent political, economic, social and technological trends. This has consequences also for ministries who want to raise support from their populations.
