The Future World Giving Report introduces the key concepts in, and context for, the Future World Giving project. Long term forecasts for economic growth and levels of individual wealth suggest that in the next two decades millions of people will be lifted from a subsistence lifestyle to one of having a disposable income. This is especially the case in emerging economies. Unfortunately in many cases there is not currently high levels of charitable giving in these countries. The report reflects on how increased giving in these countries could be facilitated.
