All of us have experienced trouble in our lives, and most of us have helped or tried to help others who were going through difficulties. When trouble comes—and it surely will—believers in Christ are to trust the perfect and completely sufficient Word of God and remember the never-failing promises of God that provide hope in any challenge of life.

I really love that this article points out that God will give us nothing that is greater than what we can handle with his help. This has been such a good reminder for me in my life. So many times I have thought it was all too much. I remember this verse and realize that God is there, ready to sustain me and help me. We are never truly alone.

I have tried to solve problems frequently without prayer and consulting the Word. I have found that focusing on the Word helps me to feel less stress and enables me to think clearer about an issue. God’s peace is promised during difficult circumstances. That peace is found in relationship and relationship is built by prayer and studyingHis word!

I enjoyed this article. For me it was a reminder of a very important truth, that we should be anchored in the word. I love the examples in this article of ways to stay anchored even in times of trouble. I think overall it is a good reminder that we need to always anchor ourselve in the Lord and his word.

The times of trouble can often help us grow into more mature followers of Christ if we keep that anchor. It is very important that we understand how to do that and that we teach others to do so as well.

This article gives us a great opportunity to view Scriptures that will encourage and will help believers when we have difficulties in our lives. The Scriptures will also help us to become more Christ – like leaders. The article refers to eight anchors of hope that will sustain believers during any trials because of the promises of God and the victories He gives us.

I enjoy the simplicity of the article. It provides a word in due season. It helsp to shape how we view trials and understand that they have a greater purpose. Sometimes the purpose is not revealed in that moment. I believe there are no wasted moments when it comes to God.

Just encouragement for the anchor of HOPE…
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things HOPED for,
the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our
faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the
shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
I agree Jesus is the anchor of hope for any trial. We as believers
have to make sure we hold on to the anchor.
