The person who is a consumer will want to Christianity consumer. If a person lives life only for herself then she is wasting her life. Lk. 9:24 "For whoever would save his life will lose ,...." So instead of being served must serve. God is more in search of our availability than our ability. Plan time to have formal and informal.

We have many believers with a consumer mentality. They only come to Christ in search of relief from their distress. They are not in a relationship with Him to serve but to get help. We must help people to understand that even Jesus did not come to be served but to serve. Jesus talks in the scripture about the greatest must be a servant. Many of our churches are made of consumers they are their only to receive without giving anything back to help somebody along the way.
