My origins are in rural Welsh-speaking Wales in the West of Britain. By God’s grace, and to my surprise, after a period as a professor of Religious Studies I now serve as Theological Advisor to the evangelical relief and development agency Tearfund [UK]. My task is to provide advice to Tearfund on a whole range of issues that require some theological expertise.
