I think so often many people think that the solution for their problems in church will end if and when they leave the church they are currently in, only to find that these problems are created or come up in the next church they become a part of. I think it is very important, like this says for to first to stop and think why and what are the reasons for leaving a church. Is it selfish or prideful reasons, or are there legitimate reasons for leaving in that God is not being glorified? Jesus commands us to Love, and through this love, is how we should leave as well not burning bridges, for we never know when God might put those same people in our path again. By including others in the decisions to leave a church you help make it a communal joint effort extending the love to others and showing they are vital in helping make the decision process as well.
Only God knows where you are called, even we often misread those callings if we do not listen intently to what God is telling us. It is my hope that through each leave, and each arrival God can be glorified in the process.

When considering to leave a church, you should first pray about, seek the Face of God, so that He can direct your pathway. I know you should never leave hurt or mad.

@ theBlood:
This need to be given to every church in the USA. People leave churches for all of the wrong reasons. They have know understandig of the church. I can say as a pastor that those who leave does not have a clue as to the affect that it has upon a pastor. Many of their reasons or so selfish without any regard of others. I can say that there are times when one must leave but it is how you leave that is important. One of those reasons is to view God from another perspective.
