This drama replays the story of Rahab the harlot. It shows God’s provision for the vulnerable and obedient.

Archbishop Benjamin Kwashi, of Jos, Nigeria, discusses life at the intersection of other faiths. He shares how he represented Christ in the midst of racial unrest and violence.

Michael Ramsden, European director of RZIM Zacharias Trust, discusses witnessing boldly, from a position of humility, appealing to the example of Paul.

Korean missionary in Cambodia who studying in US

Emotional appeals rather than theological reasonings. The question is not we expected but how we will respond to their challenge. How would I spend the last months of my life if I diagnosed incurable cancer? Should I continue to study? Should I return to Cambodia to finish the Lord’s work there? I conclude that if the answer is different from the present locus of life, i am living in a wrong place. Thanks to God who brought me to where I am!

I expected a theme like: What has God to say to us with the islam being there close but so opposite to the church? Theologically, sociologically, political?
Most dialogue and multiplex sessions were more informational. I expected them to be more of challenging each other trying to find direction and oneness together as a worldcommunity.

Table Discussion||Noted at our table:
The main papers by Ramsden and Kwashi seemed to fall short of really tackling the issue other than emphasizing that the gospel must be proclaimed - which is a good reminder, but we mostly felt the need for something a bit more.
"Mrs. MBB’s" presentation was more helpful, discussing the importance of contextualization, dialog, relationship, etc. Three major themes seem to be emerging in this topic: (1) be willing to suffer, (2) pursue contextualization, (3) engage relationally and dialogically and lovingly.
We discussed the importance of understanding the people to whom we share. What do they already understand to be the bad news? Does the gospel have anything to say to that? For the gospel to be understood as truly "good news", it must speak to what they already understand to be the "bad news." Questions we are asking:
1. What is the "bad news" as understood by the people I want to reach?
2. What are the bridges and common ground points that provide good opportunties for sharing the gospel?
3. How can I pursue contextualization in my setting?
4. Am I ready to live and die for the gospel?

out dated methods||We in the western world that are so accustomed to ’sending’ missionaries to the rest of the world need to address our outdated methods of how we do so. We need to focus on partnerships with our brothers and sisters in the majority world who are often more qualified than we. As much as we in the west say that we want to build mutual and reciprocal relationships we need to stop talking about it and actually start doing it more aggressively.
