This is a tremendous testimony from a young woman who came to know the love of God against immense odds. We will do well to realize the work of the Holy Spirit is indeed mysterious, working in ways that we cannot understand. Thus, we must not discount those who claim to know God through dreams and visions. This is a prime example of those who receive Christ this way and go on to make a greater impact for kingdom advancement than many of those who come to know Christ through evangelistic efforts. This does not mean that we give up on missions and leave the work up to the Holy Spirit. On the contrary, it should give us comfort and hope that in our efforts and struggles, the Spirit is working alongside us and assisting in areas where we are unable to succeed.

It is so encouraging to see the gospel go forth to other nations, particularly as that advancement is empowered by the Spirit. He testifies to the Truth in all places and cultures and burdens His people with love for the lost and the Church. By His power, we see the enemy’s opposition overcome - no matter if it comes from intellectual, political, religious, or other sources.

I was really encouraged by this testimony. You could see the heart this 18 year old girl had for N Korea. She had been through so much, and lost her family. Through all her hardships she looked to the cross. Listening to her testimony was a blessing to my life because so many times I let things distract me from Christ. This girl was centering her life on Christ, and it showed through her actions. I think her heart for the lost and urgency for them was how we ought to be.

I was so blessed by this young girl’s story. Her heart for the people of North Korea was humbling, and the story of God pursuing her was beautiful. It was evident that the entire building packed with hundreds of people were moved by her testimony because of the standing ovation she received. After hearing this testimony I now have a deeper desire to pray for the people of North Korea. Everyone should take a few minutes out of their day to watch this video because it will impact your heart and prayer life. Lord, do a mighty work in North Korea.

I was greatly blessed to learn of this young North Korean student. I have been privileged to visit North Korea on two occasions, and am involved in building bridges of reconciliation with this nation, whose people I am learning to love.
My wife & I are living in the boyhood home in Wales of Robert Jermain Thomas, the first Protestant martyr in Pyongyang. Many Koreans visit. Their passion for the work of the Gospel is contagious.See www.roadmin.org Dr. Steve Price

This was great. I had heard about her testimony, and now I got to hear it for myself, through the web page. Praise the Lord. God is building His church in North Korea. I have been praying for N Korea for 9 years, and now help with a N Korea prayer bulletin that our mission puts out. Hearing stories like this reminds me that it is worth it. The Lord is on His throne and is building His church among the people of N Korea, one soul at a time. ’Keep on working, Lord!’

This is what we desperately need now. couple of these type of testimonies will accomplish Gods purpose and we will be in Heaven by now. N Korean pressure & rejection to the gospel led our Lord to show his mighty power to this world through this wonderful precious sister of our lord, my tears are flowing while typing. This is an encouragement to me & a death blow to all cushy Christians (Luke warm & backsliden christians) who take the gospel easy & live for the world. More freedom lead to stop our Lords mighty act, no freedom leads the genuine believers to show Gods power. Beware of more freedom & no pressure or persecution. Satan never uses his gun powder unless to capture more territories.
Dear folks let us fix our nuts & bolts and get ready for the proclaimation of the gospel to every corner of the world.
My moto "Unless you preach the gospel, no one is to preach"
Great & mighty God, you are so owesome wonderful beyond description, your will be done in heaven as well as on earth. So be it in Jesus name Amen

What a powerful testimony. Her Dad’s faith put to shame a lot of us in the Western World. May God guide us to repentance. May God bless North Korea and its Goverment. May God bless the Church in North Korea.

What a powerful testimony. Her Dad’s faith put a lot of us in the West to shame. Most of us and our spiritual leaders won’t be willing to give their lives for the sake of Christ. God help us. God bless North Korea.

This was the most captivating and compelling moment for me of the entire congress. Later that night, after her testimony, I wrote, "The standing ovation -- a two-minute one -- went to a little 18-year-old girl from North Korea. ...[then I retold her story, and added,] I think the audience realized that many 18-year-olds are more worried about sending texts to a boyfriend than they are about changing the legacy of nations. She bowed and walked off. But the audience wouldn’t stop clapping. Someone finally escorted her back out. Shyly, looking toward the floor, she gave that Asian bow again and walked off the stage. She rocked the house. I’ve never even taken a single *day* of political science and I’m saying, "Sign me up. What can I do?" :-)
So inspiring. Worth the entire trip, just her testimony.
