I was born in California in 1960. I was an atheist, but became persuaded that Jesus Christ is God. I understood that God is not partial, so He loves all people, not just those who are like me. I believed that I could do the most good with my life by moving to a place where there are not many who know Christ. I worked as in the Emergency Department (as a Registered Nurse), thinking that this could be useful in the kind of place I was likely to move to. I was married in 1988. We had 5 children. We moved to Turkey in 1997, with the encouragement and support of our local fellowship and other friends.…
