Sadly, adultery has become part of the fabric of life in countries and cultures across the globe. In spite of its prevalence, however, the complete sinfulness of adultery remains largely overlooked and even camouflaged by supposedly less offensive terms such as “having an affair” or “stepping out” or “sleeping around.” As a result, adultery is often glamorized, legitimized, and/or fantasized by those who, sadly, are spiritually deluded, selfcentered, unloving, and relationally short-sighted. These characteristics make one vulnerable to Satan’s diabolical and spiritually numbing plan to cripple people, families, and relationships through adultery.
