All too often-though-we add qualifiers to that statement such as: "God is so good...He healed my sister, gave me a new car, made things work out, etc." God is always good and the test of how much we believe that is if we tell Him that when He does not respond the way we want.

Your statements are very true. I believe God is always good, whether we are good or not. He does not change. He is immutable. We change often, while he remains the same yesterday, today, and forever. I think it is very wise to encourage the idea of doing good. If we sow corruption, we’ll reap corruption. If we sow incorruption, we will reap incorruption. Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
