Q: Therese, was your disability one of the factors for you to become a Christian?
A: Not directly. I was raised in a school of Catholic Nuns in Belgium. They helped me understand what the gospel is about, but the relationship to Christ was not really an issue. I was in boarding school at that time, and I did not come home often. When I finished school at about age 20, I finally came home. I had no friends. I was pretty much depressed at that time.
