I came into an adult encounter with Jesus Christ through the Church of the Lutheran Brethren, a small evangelical Lutheran denomination formed in 1900 from independent immigrant Lutheran churches of Norwegian heritage. Since then I’ve been a home mission church planter in Minnesota, a church planter/educator in Japan, a visiting professor at Northwestern College, St. Paul, MN, and am presently teaching at Lutheran Brethren Seminary, Fergus Falls, MN.
