I grew up in a staunch Catholic home in the Philippines. As a young girl I dreamt of becoming a Catholic nun to help the poor in Africa and India.
My parents introduced me to a self sacrificing and crucified Christ. In college, my Christian friends introduced me to the living and risen Christ. After a personal and transformative encounter with Jesus Christ, I offered my life to serve Him among the poor so I trained to become a licensed social worker.
