I grew up in the Netherlands and have my Christian roots in the Dutch Reformed Church. After studying biology and geology I did my PhD in geology (paleontology). Moved to Sweden in 1991 and became ordained minister in the Mission Covenant Church of Sweden 1996 after studies at Stockholm School of Theology. Since then I have served as a local pastor and later as pastor for Saami (indigenous people in Scandinavia), which is still my responsibility. My main task now is responsibility for mission contacts in Asia and Europe.
