My testimony is short, I remember asking Jesus in to my heart when I was just 4 years old.
My late teen years were a little more colorful as I became increasingly frustrated with the lack of urgency in American Christianity, constant infighting among Christians, and a lack of a desire to help those in the surrounding communities. Christianity seemed selfish to me, like salvation was only for each individual and after that you just showed up to church on Sundays. Finding more genuine people in the world, I walked away from the frustration and life took a turn downward.
