Join the conversation on Women and Men

Women and Men God is calling the whole Body of Christ to engage actively in ways that contribute toward the completion of the Great Commission. Partnerships within the Body would strengthen this effort, including partnerships between men and women.

In this conversation, we look at a biblical foundation for such a partnership between men and women to see (1) that God originally intended men and women to work together to further His purposes; (2) that sin negatively affected this desired partnership and (3) that the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus established the possibility for reconciliation between men and women. The Holy Spirit adopts into God’s family anyone with a saving faith in Jesus, empowering both men and women to work together to serve His purposes.

This conversation will also highlight three kinds of partnerships between men and women in ministry—partnership between a husband and wife, partnership within specific ministry teams, and partnership within the global Body of Christ.

We invite you to join this conversation to consider what you can do to strengthen these kinds of male–female partnerships in your context in an effort to further the completion of the Great Commission.

What qualities are necessary in a woman for leadership for Christ?
What qualities are necessary in men to work well with women in partnership for the cause of Christ?
What leadership qualities do you regard highly in men and women you respect?
