Truth and Pluralism This conversation examines the challenge of secularity to the witness of the Church in the world. Together, we hope to explore a number of key factors that have contributed to the rise of secularity within various cultural milieux, both in the western world as well as in the global south. Working together, we will try to comprehend better the relationship between secularity and its corollaries (plurality, the new atheism, fragmentation and the marginalisation of religious belief). The conversation will be structured around three key components: summations of secularisation and pluralism; discussions on the impact of secularity in various local contexts, as well as relevant Christian response; and further dialogue on the mission of God and the Church in addressing secularity and its consequences. In addition to sharing ideas and promising practices, our goal will be to identify key elements that enable grassroots movements to engage secularity and pluralism around specific kingdom themes.

Should all religions be treated equally in the public sphere?
How can Christians be true to truth of Christ in the public sphere?
What is meant by the ‘uniqueness of Christ’?
How can Christians respond to religious pluralism?
