I work with a ministry called Project Revelation 5:9, which is a part of YWAM Salem in Oregon. The ministry is entirely focused on reaching those who have never heard the gospel. We do a lot of mobilization and working with students who come through our YWAM schools to get them to the unreached.

We are relatively new and still very much learning. I think the greatest thing we have learned is that relational is the best way to go. Woking inside a bigger organization that is not only focused on the Unreached we would often be frustrated. We desired to see the base say we will only send teams to the unreached (basically, although we would never say it, we wanted to force people to go!). Frustration set in as we were not seeing the fruit we wanted to. Then we met with a like minded leader who basically told us that relationships and influence is the key to seeing fruit. And so we applied this to our ministry. We focused on forming relationships with students and staff and genuinely loving them, whilst maintaining a passion for the unreached. As we have done this we have seen much more fruit and the passion for the unreached amongst YWAM salem increase.

In addition to our work with Project Revelation 5:9 my wife and I are in preparation to move to a Muslim nation in Central Asaia.
