I have served with Operation Mobilization for 38 years, spending 14 years with OM ships and over 20 years at the OM USA HQ in the Atlanta area. During my years on the ships I was exposed to the church around the world and developed a great interest in ethnic worship expressions. I did grad work in ethnomusicology, and eventually started Heart Sounds International. This is a global music ministry with OM focusing on encouraging movements of indigenous worship through teaching on biblical worship, songwirting events, and recording of indigenous worship songs, mostly in the restricted parts of the world. HSI has completed over 50 audio and video projects around the world and has a You Tube channel with excerpts on global worship.
