Our ministry (Trinity International Baptist Mission) is once again hosting volunteer teams to join us for a week of cross-cultural ministry in the Chicago (USA) area!
The attached PDF provides you with information on all our 2012 STM opportunities. We design our STM experiences with a primary emphasis on cross-cultural mission, diaspora peoples, intentional learning, prayer, and communion with God. It is a people and God-oriented rather than a task-oriented trip. We are booking teams now, so if you are looking for an unusual 1-week (or more) experience for your small group, church, Sunday School class, youth group or whatever download the PDF and contact us to schedule your week.

Hi Cody,
My name is Thi Mitsamphanh. I am a laotian who came to america as a refugee as a child. I am now pastoring a church plant ministering to Bhutanese Nepali refugees. We have a very small community here in Memphis as opposed to cities like Chicago or Dallas or Atlanta. We do have a small but growing Christian community, most of whom were converted after coming to the US. I want to give our folks some opportunities to do some mission work with other Bhutanese Nepali communities around the US during the summer. Would it be possible for our group to come for a week and volunteer with you guys?

I am glad to hear that someone is willing to take the gospel into the urban communities in the U.S., namely Chicago. So many of our minority youths are being destroyed by gang violence and drug abuse. At times our feel that our missionaries should concentrate their work here at home, more so than abroad in foreign lands. The spiritual and moral structure in our urban communities are in dire need of hearing the life-changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ!
