My heart leap for joy upon knowing that the Lausanne Conference focus on calling the Church back to humility, simplicity, and integrity. I have been searching organization and Church leaders with this kind of vision but unfortunately I found none. It seems that no one is bold enough to face this crisis for fear of exposing humiliating issues of the Church. In fact, I started travelling around the Philippine Churches since 2005 to bring this message as preventive measures to halt the deepening spiritual and moral decline silently creeping into the Church. My burden becomes lesser knowing that I’m not alone oin this advocacy. Thank God.

Rev. Bartolome you are not alone. We have got to bring the integrity back to to the church. The wolves in sheep clothing have actually tainted the church and caused so much harm to the sheep. There has got to be a level accountablity in which we hold leaders to in order to prevent this catastrophe from happening in the future. We have made the church our thing instead of about God.

The church mainly should be about making disciples and being wholistic about the disciples and making more disciples. Moral decline needs to stop and decline in integrity needs to stop.

The church needs to realize that the people are not the head of the chruch; God is the head . By doing the wrong thing, the church is ruining God’s reputation around the globe. It needs to be reigned in and corrected.

The Integrity of the Church is so important today because it should always represent the rule and reign of God. We are born in sin and shaped in iniquity and have been called out of sin to be transformed by the renewing our minds. As newborn, we follow Christ and we should always exemplify Christ in our lives. This means we have to be careful of what we do and say. Someone is always watching you and your witness matters. Shepherd and sheep are responsible for the integrity of the church. Be careful of what you do and say.

So true Reggie. The integrity of the church, the responsiblity of the people of God is to carry ourselve in a manner that is pleasing unto God. As a child of God we are to be ambassadors for christ and true witness that Jesus has redeemed us back to God and daily we are being trasnformed back to image of the father.
