Integrity is an syle of live in every single day, for women and men, so Integrity is about wholeness.
Integrity, is about integration of Gospel and christian values from women and men into our wordly affairs.
Men and women were created to God`s Image, so both were redeemed by Jesus.
Men and Women are leaders and partners in order to fulfill the Great Comission, with diferents talents given by God.
I Ask to the Lord that every single commiment that come up from Lousane Movement Cape town 2010 from leadership , be with Integrity before THE LORD ALMIGHTY GOD.
Finally, congratulations to Mrs Elke Welmer, who has exposed with biblical foundations the importance of the Integrity in women and men, starting with mutual respect, consideration, support each other and love in Jesus Chris.

@ patita:
Beautiful comments!
We always do well to remember Paul’s comments in Galatians 3:28- Christ Jesus is the great equalizer of all peoples!

Hi Christian,
I am curious to know what you mean by Feminist Foolishness. I think some of the things Ms. Werner said can be taken in a feminist way however I am not sure that I see it that way; so I’m curious to know what you think and see. I would love a second opinion.
Personally: While I do believe men and women are equally valuable in God’s eyes I do not believe they should necessarily be doing the same type of work for Him; nor that they are designed to do the same type of work men are. (essentially I believe men and women are equal but different).
At the same time I appreciated Ms. Werner’s call to protect women who have been mistreated and abused. So often I think this is overlooked in the United States and simply swept aside, women are told it is their own fault if their husband beats them - this I do not believe to be true.
Well I guess that is all I have to say for now. I hope to discuss this further with you and hear what you mean by Feminist Foolishness.
Sincerely in Christ

Was this comment even necessary? Honestly, when someone has taken the time to speak about a topic for this long, you could at least back up your response with a sentence or two to actually address your objections.

@ southern-americanadian:
The discussion about domestic violence is extremely important, as it seems to be an area that many churches are just not fully aware of, at least publicly. I have the unique opportunity to serve as both a minister and to work for a domestic violence non profit agency. One of my goals for the next year is to work with local churches to help them address the issues of violence against women (and against men as well, as it does happen) in their churches. To simply brush these things under the rug does such harm, and as citizens of the Kingdom of God we cannot stand for such.

Praise God for the biblical vision of reconciliation that you presented. What a witness Christ’s church will be! as we serve together, men and women, side by side for the Gospel’s sake.
Elke, you’re a wonderful leader and spokesperson for the cause of partnership and equality. Thanks for all your investments these many years. God’s reign is advancing!

Feminist Foolishness?!
If men were doing the job of missions, and church and family leadership, maybe. But the truth is women still out-number men in missions. Demanding submission of women without the corresponding submission of all believers to one another and requiring Christ’s high level of love from men to their wives is not preaching the whole counsel of God. I commend Elke Werner for being the first I have heard to exhort the Congress on addressing both Sex Trafficking and the mis-named murder of innocent children called "abortion."
