Leadership to me is a complex yet wonderful thing. As a leader, much is required of you but also much is needed to be delegated. This is a hard part of letting things go. I myself struggle with this thought consistently, if I let this item go, it may or may not get accomplished, and can I handle if it doesn’t. How do we as leaders form the leaders under us? Not only is it by stewardship but it is also of allowing for failures that you know will eventually come, and growing from them. How then can this process be done more effectively and efficiently?

@ Elizabeth_B:
Your comment about letting go reminds me of a one page article I wrote about Letting Go and Letting God with practical suggestions http://www.freewebs.com/simplelessons/PDFs/LetGoandLetGod.pdf

FellowPilgrim, the Leaders’ Covenant can be found here, in several languages. Thanks for flagging it up - we’ll try to add it elsewhere.

I consider that it is mandatory today that Leadership of organizations have commiment before the Lord, to be mentor to younger leaders in order to work together in evangelism to unreached people in their own context.
I encourage to the people that as leadership in Lousanne Movement 2010 , to be humble before the Lord, pray so much for his wisdom in order to become like Christ leader.
I am thankful to the Lord because only for his grace, he has trained to me, step by step as leader in his kingdom, only for his service to others and to be like him.
