I so enjoyed studying the Gospel this morning with my brother from Sri Lanka! What a joy it will be, someday, when we can talk continually with brothers and sisters from all over the world, about our Lord and Savior! God bless you all at Lausanne!

Loving all the saints is essential to - and must be simultaneous with - the proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ.  Oh, we have work to do!

Feedback on Application Q2||Examples from 3 countries:
- Germany divided.
But the church in the East was influential. Christians got together and prayed for political change. The church was a place that people could express ideas without fear.
- USA
Churches were on both sides of the racial divide in segregation. But local bodies of believers expressed that hope that some day things would change.
- Lebanon
Hard conflict between different Lebanese communities (Muslim, Palestinians, Christians and Marionite vs evangelicals).

Table discussion||One key theme emerging from our table in studying Eph. 1 seems to be God’s supremacy. Also, the issue of "mystery" - that it is good for the "mystery" of the gospel to be proclaimed and not necessarily to be always so "explained". The connection between "faith in Christ" and "love for all the saints" was mentioned.
Elements of truth often neglected by leaders in our contexts included: 1. not showing Christ as real in our lives; 2. the blood of Christ; 3. love for all saints; 4. discipleship/transformation of one’s concept of God; 5. the mystery of the gospel (explanation AND experience)
