Published by International Nepal Fellowship and made available here with permission, this is a very simple and helpful guide for helping your local church to get involved with ministry to refugees. In the attached PDF, the following topics are covered:
Setting up a team, working with resettlement agencies, initial resettlement, helping with financial issues, teaching English, medical and transportation issues, employment, child care, education, taxes, citizenship, translation, social events, ministry by word, prayer, spiritual resources, and more.
This is not a comprehensive guide, but definitely a helpful thing to have on hand if your church is considering or has already engaged in ministry to refugees.

I’ve been working with refugees in North America from multiple countries as a church planter for a number of years. Knowing what it means to living incarnationally and to meet needs among refugee peoples and also what it means to reach out with the message of Christ to them, I can recommend this manual without reservation. It is just a terrific reference piece to put into the hands of every member of your team that is working among refugee peoples.
