Anywhere you go around the globe, you’ll always find Filipinos in all types of jobs. They blend well and adjust very quickly to circumstances, new cultures and different environments. They are also often commended as dedicated workers.
More than 10 million filipinos are working overseas as OFW -overseas filipinos workers in 192 countries of the world . Most filipinos are christians and the Lord position them as "modern day tentmakers" i believed theres a need of training and mobilization in the Philippines .The church must respond and get ready ! If we want to see great harvest , we must equip,train and mobilize more marketplace -tentmakers in our days.
can we discuss and share on these topics?
whats the role of pastors in the local church in raising up tentmakers?
how to mobilized them ( those christian professionals/market place) already in overseas ?
from marketplace people to church planters .
Is there a need of specific training ? to become marketplace ministers?tentmakers-church planters ?
HOw can we apply the simple church model ?

Maayong Buntag Fritz, You are right about Philippinos being found every where. I believe it is important for pastors to train their future OFW’s in 1) basic evangelism, 2) how to lead a Bilble Study 3) How to stay close to God while living far from your home church. 4) Cross -Cultural training would be grat. Specific training for market place ministry can only help.This is possible if pastors can see their people becoming OFW’s for the expanding of God’s kingdom. Rather than seeing them just helping their home church financially.

YES and I agree ! thats the reason why God called me into this particular ministry - reaching and training the OFW’s Overseas Filipino Workers .God used OFW’s to plant churches around the world particularly in the 10/40 window countries where there is no Religious freedom . OFW are Outstanding Filipino Witness or Ordained Filipino Workers ! We had our on ongoing training for OFW’s we call it GMC Global Mission Course .
