In 2004, I traveled, with 8 other Americans to Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, So. Sudan, and Cape Town.

In the midst of that experience we were able to see some African run Missions organizations that were doing amazing work, in comparison to the American-led counterparts.

I learned that often times, our American dollar is spread a lot further if we invest it in programs that are started and led by nationals.

I also learned that many Americans have skewed views about Africa and the 3rd world. We often do not view them for what they can offer. They has so much to teach us.

I seek to connect the American church the African church through real relationships. New tools like social media allow for relationship to happen quickly and easily.

Looking for resources, as I am just starting this venture.
